Obituary for Albert 'Butch' Malmquist Jr.
Albert M. 'Butch' Malmquist, Jr., 75, passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2021 at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL. He had been a former 35 year resident of Libertyville, living in Gurnee, IL since 2010. Butch was a graduate of Northern Illinois University with a bachelors degree where he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. He enjoyed sailing, downhill skiing, fishing, scuba diving and was a member of the Waukegan Yacht Club, having sailed in 27 Mackinac races.
Surviving is his wife of 52 years, Caren Malmquist; 2 daughters, Dana (Ryan) Parr and Kirsten (Marcus) Eisen and 3 grandchildren, Matthew & Aaron Parr and Oliver Eisen.
