Hello dear friends. Steve & I want to thank you all for reaching out. We all lost something Monday. I am upset how our community keeps being described as wealthy, consisting of Latinx & Jews. You guys, over 2/3s of HP are Catholic & Protestant. Today’s Chicago Tribune describes Sheridan Rd. & how everyone is priveledged as if that street represented all of us. No mention of my neighborhood, Ravinia, Sunset Park, Highlands etc.
We are still so traumatized. The shooter was just some guy. It’s really not about him. It’s about bearing witness to the spreading anarchy, lack of common sense, and ruination of our country.  This isn’t about gun control. How the hell did weapons of mass destruction get into this debate?
So we will try to heal. In the meantime, all of your notes are so very appreciated.
