Remembering Bob Levin

I am sad to inform everyone that Bob Levin has lost his long health battle and passed away yesterday 10/8/2014.  He was a good friend to many from our days Ravinia, Edgewood, HP and some at Bradley and after.  Many of us have some great memories of those years and can remember those good times and now pass our condolences to his sister Helene and other family members.

I am sorry to get this news.  
I remember we were all in the same cabin at Camp Menomonee.  That was when I lived in Champaign and you guys in HP.  What a surprise four years later when my family moved to HP and there was Bob on the bus going home from HPHS!

I am very sad to hear of Bob's passing.  I have fond memories of his playful personality.  We laughed a lot and were dance partners for some HPHS show...Stunts?  I had hoped to see him at our 50th reunion but of course that did not happen.  I smile when I remember Bob!

I knew Bob through Jeff Rothschild (they were next door neighbors) and have fond memories of a lot of laughs and good times with him.  He was a lot of fun to be with.  Bob's parents owned a boat called the Hane B Bob (Hane was for his sister Helane) which I was on several times, the last of which was the morning after our high school graduation (with Gerry!).

Just saw this.  Wow, went to Chicago bandstand with bob in 8th grade. Was fun! He was a nice guy!
